I was originally paired with THG Realty (Mike Robinett) when I was looking to purchase a new home with Centex. Unfortunately, plans changed a little bit and we sought out other homes. In doing so, Mike kept working with us. He worked with us on a weekly basis, most of the time daily to meet our needs. Not only did he support us with the sale of our home and the up's and down's that went with that but the purchase of our new home. Mike kept me calm and informed during some of the post trying times in this process. He sat me down to explain all the best scenarios and all the least desirable scenarios that could happen. I relocated suddenly to the Dallas area from Florida a year and a half ago to pursue a career opportunity with Michaels Stores, Inc. The Michaels Human Resources Team provided contact information for Jennifer Hunter and THG Realty to help support me in finding suitable housing. At the time, I didnt know a single person in Texas and knew even less about the area and the housing market. I was feeling overwhelmed by the daunting task of finding a home and moving to a new area.

I met with Jennifer in the beginning of August. She took the time to sit down with me in front of a large map of the Dallas area and began to help educate me on the different areas and towns. Prior to making any suggestions, Jennifer first took the time to help me clearly identify my priorities with respects to a home. We discussed many important factors, my commute, shopping, school districts, property taxes, community, religious affiliations, recreational interests etcshe made sure she had helped me accurately define these important factors before we even began discussing the specifics about what the actual house needed to have.

To complicate things even further (for Jennifer, not for me), soon after we began looking at houses, I decided that I wanted to rent for one year before making the commitment to buy a home. Jennifer didnt skip a beat or break stride and behaved like a true professional. She found me a perfect interim place to live and a week later, I had signed the lease on a rental property a few miles from my office. Jennifer made sure every detail was handled throughout the entire process.

Eight months later when I felt more comfortable with my new job and my decision to move to Texas I contacted Jennifer with THG Realty. She once again took the time to review all of my needs, wants and concerns to ensure nothing had changed and so she had clear direction about exactly what kind of a home I was looking for. We discussed my budget and throughout the entire process she was extremely respectful of this figure. Jennifer helped to educate me and stood by my side during every step of the home building/buying process. She ensured that at all times I was well informed and making decisions and taking actions that were in my best interest. My husband and I made the decision in late 2007 to buy a new townhome and sale our family home. We listed our home with a local Real Estate Agency and put it on the market in December. Even though we had a lot of people coming in touring the home we never received any formal offers. The current real estate agent told us that it is a tough time with the economy but she did not believe it was the pricing. When our contract ended in June, we still wanted to move out of our large home and into our townhome. I contacted my builder and asked if she knew of anyone good that I could use. Terri with Ryland Homes recommend that I call Jennifer Hunter, she said she had worked with her a couple of times and was impressed with how hard she worked. This time, we interviewed three different companies/agents to see what they would do to sell our home. Jennifer was the second agent that we interviewed. When all the interviews were done, all three agencies had come in about the same price but Jennifer offered something else, she would not charge us any fees to sale. With this information we agreed to use Jennifer and hired her immediately. Jennifer had the house back on the market on Monday and by Thursday of that same week we had received two offers it was totally unbelievable. We accepted the higher offer and within 3 weeks we sold our home, bought our townhome and had moved. This was all due to the fact that Jennifer knew what she was doing.
